BREAKING! BREAKING!! BREAKING!!! INEC DECLARES SENATOR OKPEBHOLO WINNER OF EDO STATE 2024 GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION

INEC declares Senator Okpebholo Winner of Edo State Gubernatorial Election. 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by the returning officer Prof Faruok Kuta Adamu Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State. 

Announcing the overall results at the INEC office, Aduwawa Road, Benin City, Edo State, South South, Nigeria, on Sunday, September 22nd,2024, that Senator Monday Okpebholo of All progressives Congress (APC) is the winner of the keenly contested Gubernatorial Election by garnering 291,667 votes , Barr Asue Ighodalo of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) secured 247,200 votes and Barr Olumide Akpata of labour party (LP) secured 22,732 votes. 

Speaking to the audience the returning officer prof Adamu states that Senator Okpebholo as the winner has satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared the winner of Edo State governorship election. Senator Okpebholo currently represents the Edo Central Senatorial district at the red chambers NASS Abuja FCT Nigeria. 



Speaking to members of the fourth estate of the realm senator Adams Eric Oshiomhole, who is representing the Edo North Senatorial district at the red chambers NASS Abuja FCT Nigeria states that he is extremely grateful to good Lord of prophets and apostles that the candidate of his political party APC is now the governor elect for Edo State averring that the governorship election is generally free fair peacefully and credible. 

Furthermore, he avers that the governor elect senator Okpebholo shall pragmatically and assiduously discharge his social contracts to the citizenry to make life easier, meaningful and better. He avers that he is a strong believer that the Edolites shall begin to look forward for unflinching progressiveness and development streaks. 

He concurs that the whole essence of governance is to make life livable and habitable for all and sundry. On Saturday, 21st September twenty twenty four Senator Oshiomhole voted at Iyamho primary school Iyamho very near to Auchi of Estako West local Government Area of Edo State at unit one of ward 10 and he won his unit with 403 votes, PDP secured one vote APC also secured one vote.
