Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the convener Nelson Ekujumi and co convener Peter Clavver Oprah of the patriotism awareness forum (PAF)  have deftly and critically condemn the Peoples Democratic Party PDP governors forum shameful and irresponsible conduct over 2024 Edo State Gubernatorial Election stating that their conduct is embarrassing and treat to democracy and national security averring that they have to really condemn the shame and embarrassment the PDP governors forum unleashed at the democracy of the federal republic of Nigeria by illegally announced a fake and concocted election results for the peaceful and successfully conducted 2024 Edo State governorship election. 

In a Press release signed by the convener Ekujumi and the co convener Oparah made available to Iconblazemagazineonline, the civil society group stated that the desperate resort to self help by the PDP governors forum is a disgraceful low the party has descended to because she cannot manage the outcomes of an electoral conduct they did find out that they their party and candidate are not favoured. Speaking further the group stated that it is particularly disappointing and shameful that the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmed Fintri who was rescued from such similar violation of the electoral process in 2023 general elections is now the shameful mouth piece of the present show of heavy shame of electoral crime by PDP governor’s forum. 

Speaking further they stated that ”The electoral law vests the authority to conduct election and declare election results by the INEC and that no other person, group or authorities else averring that the laws are clear on the validity of election results as well as the means to seek justice in cases of electoral infractions and it also outlaws such act of brigand age and gangsterism, which PDP has resorted to in Edo State, South South, Nigeria.
