BREAKING! BREAKING!! BREAKING!!! TWUN GIVES EFCC 7 DAYS ULTIMATUM TO BEGIN A THOROUGH INVESTIGATIONS, PROSECUTION OF ONE MADAM OGIAMIE

The Trader’s welfare Union of Nigeria (TWUN) gives the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) 7 days  ultimatum to begin a thorough investigations and prosecution of one Madam Blacky Omoregie Ogamie whom did receive the sum of One Hundred Million Naira Only (N100,000,000,00) as a  grant on behalf of Edo Market Women.

Speaking to the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of EFCC Mr. William Osaghe by the President of Traders Welfare Union of Nigeria (TWUN) Comrade Lucky Orukpe, states that they had submitted a petition to the commission on 13th August, 2021 where they noted that the said One Hundred Million Naira Only (N100,000,000,00) donated by Former Comrade Governor of Edo State Adams Eric Oshiomole has been grossly embezzled by One Madam Ogiamie adding that they have waited for good 12 years since they submitted their petition to the EFCC Office through the Zonal Director, Edo State. 

Furthermore, he states that as at this press time that no tangible actions have been taken by the management of EFCC, hence they did decide to re submit a reminder petition against One Madam Ogiamie. 

He adds that if EFCC does not take concrete actions in respect of the weighty allegations contained therein averring that they will match to the Abuja Headquarters of EFCC for adequate investigations and prosecution can objectively commence. 

Responding, the PRO of EFCC Osaghe did tell the protesters the appropriate channels that they need to follow in submitting their petition to the Zonal Director. 

And of a truth the President of TWUN, Comrade Orukpe et’al did enter the office to submit the said reminder petition. The petition is received from them with acknowledgment of stamped and dated copy.
