Speaking to the gathering at the 1^st Anniversary of the Project L.O.U.D His Excellency, Mr. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu through his representative the Director of Partnership, Wealth Creation and Empowerment, Mrs. Olayinka Oye-Bamigboye states that they will continue to support Women’s Empowerment at every opportunity averring that their start-up incubation program, has nutured the growth of several small businesses right here in Lagos State as he also added that some of their alumnus have secured funding, grants and contracts demonstrating the tangible impact of the skills they have acquired from the trainings. 

This submission is made at the 4^th Graduation Ceremony and as well as the 5^th Induction Ceremony of the Project LOUD Sanwo Olu ICT/Skill Acquisition Empowerment Centre held at the Volleyball Court, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, South West, Nigeria. Furthermore, he states that when they did launch project L.O.U.D (Leading Our Unseen Dreams) it is born out of a deep commitment to a vision they all share in empowering their people especially their youths with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive adding that in today’s globe, their aims are to transform lives through education, technology and entrepreneurship, providing access to opportunities that are previously out of reach of all and sundry. 

Furthermore, he says that the centre is established to address critical issues such as unemployment, underemployment, and the digital divide across the society adducing that they understand that for their economy to grow and for Lagos State to remain the heartbeat of the Republic they should equip their citizenry with the tools they need to succeed in the 21^st century, averring again that about 5000 persons have been trained in areas ranging from ICT, Digital Marketing, Vocational Skills like Fashion design, Videography, Catering et’al. 

He adds that these persons now have the tools to build a better future, either by securing employment or becoming entrepreneurs themselves. He adds that they have built strong partnerships with key players in the tech industry, Government Agencies and Private Enterprises. 

He adds that about 2000 Women and Girls have gained from this initiative, as many of them have gone on to start their own businesses or enter into new career paths. He adds that they are deeply committed to promoting gender inclusivity. 

He adds that they have equipped the next generation by including coding boot and digital literacy programs for children and teenagers as he avers again that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, by investing in their education today. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Grass Root Empowerment to the Governor of Lagos and as well as the Convener of Project L.O.U.D Prince Kenny Bakare states that the Governor of Lagos has gratefully paid all the expenses needed for the trainings of the participants (covering 2 months) as he showered encomiums at the Mr. Sellable, He for She, Infrastructural Developer Governor (Sanwo Olu) who has pragmatically and assiduously created uncommon opportunities for all and sundry (mostly women). 

Prince Bakare states that Participants must be resident of Lagos State and must have LASSRA Cards, as the workers of LASSRA do always present at their screening exercises at their office 114 Western Avenue, Surulere, Lagos, and they do their screenings 4 times in a year. He says that every year that about 10,000 participants are trained and that they wish to expand beyond 10,000 in the nearest future. 

Speaking further he states that they have been able to empower about 2000 participants in different areas such as ICT, Digital Marketing, Vocational Skills like Fashion Designs, Videographer, Catering et’al. He adds that they also look out for characters and contents of the trainees as exemplified in the young girl from Fashion Design Department who emerged the overall best graduating student.
